Customers ask for supplier information when they assess their supply chain or prepare a sustainability report. For every product described on this site we can provide the four documents below.
In short
- Four documents for every product: TDS, SDS, batch COA, origin statement.
- A COA is issued for each shipped batch and reports measured results.
- No LCA, REACH registration number or management-system certificate yet.
| Document | What it covers | Typical use in ESG work |
|---|---|---|
| Technical data sheet (TDS) | Typical properties, applications, packaging and storage for each grade | Product description in supplier questionnaires |
| Safety data sheet (SDS) | 16 sections, including hazard classification (§2), ecological information (§12) and disposal (§13) | Chemical safety and environmental sections of supplier assessments |
| Certificate of analysis (COA) | Test results for the specific shipped batch | Incoming quality records and traceability |
| Raw-material origin statement | Where the product’s lignin comes from (sulfite wood pulping or lignin biomass) and how it is processed | Bio-based content and sourcing questions |
What a COA reports
Each COA states the product code, batch number, manufacture and expiry dates, and the measured result for every specification item with its test method. For sodium lignosulfonate Grade One, for example, the COA reports:
| Item | Method |
|---|---|
| Appearance | Visual |
| pH (10% solution) | pH meter |
| Dry matter | Gravimetric / oven-dry |
| Water-insoluble matter | Filtration / gravimetric |
| Sulphate (SO₄²⁻) | Gravimetric (BaSO₄) |
| Calcium and magnesium | Complexometric (EDTA) titration |
| Lignosulfonate content (dry basis) | UV spectrophotometry |
| Reducing sugar | Fehling / titration |
| Moisture | Loss on drying (105 °C) |
The COA also states packaging, storage conditions and shelf life, and every bag carries a product label, so a shipment can be matched to its documents.

How to request documents
- Tell us the product and grade (for example “calcium lignosulfonate, feed grade”) and your order or quotation number if you have one.
- Say which documents you need and, if you are filling in a questionnaire, attach it.
- Send the request through the contact page or to info@greenagrochem.com. A COA is issued for each shipped batch.
What we cannot provide yet
- A life-cycle assessment (LCA) or product carbon footprint.
- A REACH registration number. If you import into the EU, ask us about the REACH status of the specific product.
- A management-system certificate. We will list certificates here only when a current one is available.
Background on each document: raw-material origin and environmental and safety data.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can you provide an SDS for every grade?
Yes. Each grade has a 16-section SDS covering hazard classification, ecological information, disposal and transport.
Do you have a carbon footprint or LCA?
Not yet. No life-cycle assessment has been completed, so we cannot provide a product carbon footprint.
What is a raw-material origin statement?
A short document stating where the product’s lignin comes from, such as sulfite wood-pulping liquor or lignin biomass, and how it is processed into the final product.
