Product Name: Sodium Lignohumate
Product Code: GAC-NaLSHA
Manufacturer/Supplier: Green Agrochem
1. Product Description
Sodium Lignohumate is an anionic derivative of lignin that presents as black flakes or powder. It is completely water-soluble and acts as a surfactant and polymer that can be modified by the addition of organic or inorganic groups. It is primarily used as an industrial binder and animal feed additive.
2. Main Specifications
| Parameter | Specification |
| Appearance | Black Powder or Flake |
| pH Value | 9.0 – 10.0 |
| Dry Matters | 95% Min. |
| Water-Insoluble | 1.5% Max. |
3. Applications and Uses
Industrial Applications:
- Coal Briquettes & Refinery Coke Binder: Helps bind difficult-to-handle powder into regular sizes that are easier to use without lowering heating energy. Typically, 3-5% of Sodium Lignohumate is mixed with water and the total mixture to control end-product moisture at less than 7%.
- Ceramics: Increases mechanical green and dry strength in ceramic pieces and acts as a lubricant during extrusion or pressing.
- Usage rate: Additions to ceramic slips vary from 0.1% to 2.0%. For pressed tiles, a 1% addition can double mechanical strength.
- Benefits: Better clay workability, reduced shrinkage while maintaining after-forming mechanical strength, reduced need for die lubrication, longer life of wearing parts, quick drying, and reduced energy consumption.
Animal Feed Additive:
- Nutritional Benefits: Supplies natural soluble carbohydrates, which are crucial for metabolizable energy, and positively affects animal growth and digestion.
- Physical Feed Improvements: Improves particle strength in livestock and poultry feed, increases eating resistance, and reduces the amount of feed powder and anti-back ratio, ultimately saving costs.
4. Packaging
- 20 kg or 25 kg woven bags with an inner liner.
- Customized packaging is available according to customer requirements.
